We provide, without charge or obligation, the following: hands-on alpaca

show ring etiquette (proper showing techniques), open & honest discussion of the
cost of raising alpacas and associated revenue streams, all aspects of farm
set-up including fencing/predator protection, barn set up, herd movement
patterns, shelter and cooling (summer) requirements and more. There are no "out
of bounds" questions here!!!
If you decide to purchase from us you will receive up to three months free
boarding. Free delivery of up to 200 miles and UNMATCHED after the sale service!
For Joann and I, Serene–n-Green Alpacas is a dream come true. While engaged (25
years ago) we discussed what our long term dreams might be. We both had horses
(OK...mine was a pony) at different times in our lives so we decided we were going to get a small ranch
and horses after I retired from the U.S. Navy.
Now, just at three and a half years into our adventure we have been blessed in so many
ways!!! From the relaxing time we spend with the animals to the joy and
excitement of assisting and mentoring others who are considering starting on a
dream of their own.
This isn't just a business for us, we truly enjoy the friends we have made and
friends we will make while sharing what we love! Honesty will always
outrank making a sale here!
Call us today at (812)256-6707 to arrange a farm visit...as we said above...
We are here to help YOU with YOUR dreams!!!

-Arrowheads-

Collecting Indian Artifacts has been such a
blessing for me and my family. I started my obsession in my early teens with my
friend and his dad. I loved it from the start. In 1993 my family moved to Springfield IL and it was then
that I was hooked for life. My sons
were 3 and 5 and we would go out and talk
and walk for hours. They were real intent
on finding arrowheads...for about an
hour....then a grasshopper or a naturally formed, aerodynamically perfect
dirt clod would appear and I'd lose them for a while.
Collecting has not only provided me with my "rock" treasures but
more importantly countless hours of memories with my wife, my sons, my father, my
brother and
friends!
I don't know what will last longer, my "rocks" or the memories.
Last but not least I want to share with you another aspect of this hobby you may
not have considered. Take time to plug-into your local schools to show some of your
collection while they study your states history. Most textbooks only cover briefly
the era of the American Indian. Unfortunately most kids can't comprehend an
Indian without a horse or John Wayne chasing them. Few have any knowledge
outside of
what Hollywood has produced. Museums rarely let them touch
anything. You'll
be amazed at how excited and appreciative they become when
you bring in items like ax heads, knapping stones, pottery shards, points...etc.
I have been blessed every time!!!!
Respectfully,
John
